Our Focus:

  • Enterprise Risk Management: We identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the achievement of UCF’s objectives. This involves analyzing a wide range of factors, including financial, operational, reputational, and strategic risks.
  • Risk and Insurance: We execute a balanced risk management strategy including management of insurable risks through strategic insurance programs, and administration of self-insurance programs.  We also provide guidance and support on contractual risk transfer and effectively manage claims to optimize outcomes.
  • Occupational and Workplace Safety: We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and training programs, identifying and controlling workplace hazards, and implementing fire prevention and protection measures to minimize the risk of fire incidents. We strive to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses through hazard identification, risk assessment, monitoring, and control measures.
  • Event Safety: We ensure the safety and security of university events by conducting risk assessments and supporting the implementation of appropriate safety measures.
  • Vehicle Safety: We promote safe driving practices and ensure the safe operation of organizational vehicles. This includes driver training and policies to aimed at reducing the risk of vehicle accidents.
